Explore the current drawing directory
Submitted by rkmcswain on Sun, 05/31/2009 - 08:11Here is a menu macro that will open Windows Explorer to the directory of the current drawing in AutoCAD.
^C^C(startapp "explorer" (strcat "/e, "(getvar "dwgprefix")));
Create a new command in the CUI, add this macro, give it a name and create an icon, then drop this in your QAT. Now you have a quick way to access the current drawing directory. Read more »

Submitted by rkmcswain on Thu, 05/21/2009 - 07:09Had to share these pics. Just another busy afternoon weekday (4:30p on a Monday) at Dallas Love Field, headed towards the Continental gate (yes that's singular). Ok, they do have two gates, but they only use one...

Submitted by rkmcswain on Sat, 05/09/2009 - 08:10If you are running Norton 360 3.0 and AutoCAD 2010, chances are your OPEN and SAVE dialogs do not work, among other problems.
